Cronulla Sharks vs Sydney Roosters - Round 6, 2026
The result
Sharks led 22 to 6 at halftime but the Roosters ran them down at Optus Stadium, pulling away late to win 34 to 22. Jesse Colquhoun opened the scoring in the 7th minute, and from there Cronulla's lead held until the second half unravelled.
How it unfolded
The Roosters made 42 tackle breaks to the Sharks' 19 and ran for 1835 metres to Cronulla's 1405, overwhelming the home side with go forward. Cronulla's 81 percent completion rate against the Roosters' 73 percent wasn't enough to offset that gap in metres.
Price moves
Toby Rudolf's price rose $28,000 after a score of 44 against a break even of 19, and Siosifa Talakai climbed $13,000 with 25 against a break even of 11. On the other side, Briton Nikora's price fell $44,000 after managing just 16 against a break even of 63, while Sione Katoa dropped $27,000, well under his break even of 43 with 17. Spencer Leniu and Lindsay Collins also lost value, falling $22,000 and $19,000 respectively after scores that missed their break evens of 33 and 43.
Ownership outcome
James Tedesco played all 80 minutes and returned 60 points, a number likely to have mattered given his profile among Fantasy squads. Blayke Brailey's 69 points, built on three try assists, came from a less heavily owned asset in most sides.
