Manly Sea Eagles vs Cronulla Sharks - Round 21, 2026
The result
Sharks were far too good, running out 48 to 12 winners at 4 Pines Park. Teig Wilton opened the scoring in the 11th minute and Sharks led 30 to 6 at halftime, with Manly never getting closer than 28 points the rest of the way.
How it unfolded
Sharks ran for 1889 metres to the Sea Eagles' 1360 and crossed for 12 line breaks to Manly's 1. Sea Eagles made 348 tackles to the Sharks' 324, though 43 missed tackles against Cronulla's 25 told its own story.
Against projection
Nicholas Hynes scored 106 against a projection of 55, with KL Iro and Ronaldo Mulitalo both landing 29 points clear of their own projections. At the other end Ben Trbojevic managed 21 against a projection of 50, his night cut to 39 minutes, while Hohepa Puru's 5 points came from just 3 minutes on the field.
Price moves
Joey Walsh's price rose $41,000 after he scored 54 against a break even of just 15, and Briton Nikora added $27,000 with 46 against a break even of 27. Taniela Paseka went the other way, dropping $27,000 after his 33 fell short of a break even of 59, while Addin Fonua-Blake's 42 against a break even of 70 cost him $26,000.
Ownership outcome
Oregon Kaufusi returned 52 points from only 47 minutes against a break even of 8, a result that would have surprised anyone who owned him lightly. Jesse Ramien's 31 points came from a full 80 minutes, a steadier if unspectacular return for the centre.
