South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Melbourne Storm - Round 21, 2026
The result
Melbourne led 16 to 8 at halftime and still had the lead with ten minutes left, but South Sydney ran down the gap and snatched it with Campbell Graham's second try in the 76th minute, winning 28 to 26 at Accor Stadium. Graham had opened the scoring inside three minutes, and it was fitting he closed it out too.
How it unfolded
Melbourne did more with the ball in general play, piling up 1917 run metres to the Rabbitohs' 1674, and Melbourne also made more tackles, 376 to 343. Souths countered with more line breaks, 10 to the Storm's 7, despite coughing up more errors, 9 to 6.
Against projection
Oryn Keeley scored 69 against a projection of 29, and Tyran Wishart added 74 against a projection of 37, both well clear of what was expected of them. Harry Grant went the other way, managing just 6 against a projection of 37 after coming off the bench for only 22 minutes, while John Radel's night was cut to 38 minutes despite racking up 46 points.
