The result
Greg Marzhew's second try in the 79th minute pulled the Knights within two, but it wasn't enough as the Sharks held on 20 to 18 at Ocean Protect Stadium. Cronulla led 14 to 12 at halftime after Kalyn Ponga had opened the scoring in the 9th minute.
