The result
Cronulla led 30 to 6 at halftime and cruised home 38 to 16 over Canterbury-Bankstown at Suncorp Stadium. Braydon Trindall got the Sharks moving with the opening try in the 4th minute, and the Bulldogs never got closer than 20 points the rest of the way.
